About the platform
Sustainable Dhofar is an initiative that brings the community together to shape a more sustainable future by sharing ideas, initiatives, and proposals that can position the Governorate as a leading model for sustainability in the region.
Eligibility is nationwide — the platform's subject-matter focus is Dhofar, but contributors from anywhere in Oman are welcome to submit an idea.

Who can take part?
Anyone in the Sultanate of Oman with an idea that can contribute to digital and logistics sustainability is welcome to participate. While the platform focuses on Dhofar Governorate, you do not need to live in or visit Dhofar to take part. Everyone across Oman — including citizens, visitors, individuals, investors, entrepreneurs, and organizations — is welcome to contribute and share their ideas.
What counts as an idea?
Any idea, big or small, that responds to a real logistical or digital challenge in Dhofar — from a simple improvement to a new service or technology.
Do I need to build it myself?
No. You can choose to develop your idea yourself, or hand it to a specialized team to take it forward.
Can I submit more than one idea?
Yes. Please submit each idea separately so it can be reviewed on its own merits.
How is my idea evaluated?
Every idea is assessed against the same published criteria: technical feasibility, commercial and economic value, sustainability, implementation readiness, and strategic timing.
Can I submit in Arabic or English?
Yes, both languages are read equally by the review team.
